Tahiti Resort Hotel Policy
Welcome to Tahiti Resort. We strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests. To ensure your stay is safe and pleasant, please review the following policies:
Check-In and Checkout
- Check-In Time: Starts at 4:00 pm PST.
- Check-Out Time: Prior to 10:00am PST
- Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
Reservation and Cancellation
- All reservations require a valid credit card guarantee at time of booking. USD $200 authorization hold at time of check in and first night payment at time of booking.
- On refundable reservations, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date to avoid a penalty of one night room and tax. If you booked reservations using a third party, refer to the third party’s Terms & Conditions about the ability to modify, or cancel reservation.
- Non-refundable reservations may not be refunded but may be rescheduled to a different time prior to 48 hours to arrival date.
- Owners who are staying for their entitlement week have a 30-day cancellation without a charge. Owner discount reservations have a 14-day cancellation before arrival date without penalty.
- Guests that have reservations under vacation packages attached to a timeshare tour must adhere to the Terms & Conditions agreed upon at the time of booking.
- If a credit card declines at time of booking, the reservation will be cancelled automatically.
Check-in and Incidentals
- The same credit card used at time of booking must be presented during check in with the hotel.
- Only the primary guests are allowed to check-in for the reservation and must provide a valid government identification and Credit Card that is tied to the reservation.
- Authorized guests may be allowed to check-in on behalf of the primary guest. The primary guest must arrange for their authorized guest to check-in by contacting reservations or the property before the arrival date.
- A credit card pre-authorization will be required for the full balance of your reservation upon check-in and will be settled at checkout. For debit card transactions, the full payment will be charged on your arrival date.
- A credit card authorization for incidentals is required and will be released upon checkout and is subject to bank processing times.
- The Front Desk can only accept major credit and debit cards and does not accept cash or tap to pay options.
- Please note that a daily resort fee applies to rental reservations. This fee covers access to various resort amenities and services. Guests should be aware that this charge is disclosed in the advertised price.
- One-time amenity fee will apply to any RCI reservations
- A one-time short stay fee will apply to any RCI reservation that is less than 7 nights.
No Show
- A guest is considered a “No-Show” if they do not check in on the scheduled arrival date and have not modified or canceled their reservation in accordance with the hotel’s cancellation policy. Reservations will be marked as a no-show by 3:00 AM on the day following the scheduled arrival date.
- After a no-show, Tahiti Resort has the right to cancel no-show reservations unless guests have confirmed their date and time of arrival at the hotel.
- The no-show fee will be either the first night’s room rate plus tax or, in the case of non-refundable reservations, the full cost of the stay.
- A valid ID is required for room charge purchases made by Debit or Credit Card.
No Smoking Policy
- Tahiti Resort is a non-smoking property including balconies and common areas. Smoking tobacco or marijuana, as well as electronic vaping devices are prohibited, and any open flames such as candles are strictly prohibited. Any evidence of doing so will incur a $750 non-refundable cleaning charge that will be posted automatically to the folio of your reservation. Please refer to our resort map for designated smoking area. All outstanding room charges and incidentals charges are due on your departure date.
Photos and Videos Consent
- By entering and staying at Tahiti Resort, guests acknowledge and agree that photography or videography may take place in public areas of the property during onsite events and activities. These photos, audio recordings, or videos may be used by Tahiti Resort and Yes& Vacations for promotional, marketing, or operational purposes. However, specific consent will be requested if audio recording, direct photographs, or video footage features an individual guest. Tahiti Resort is committed to ensuring that all content is respectful and highlights the positive experiences at the resort.
Wristbands Requirement
- Resort amenities and facilities are to be used by registered Owners and guests, and only during the registered dates on the reservation.
Aquatics Rules
- The following items below are strictly prohibited within the gated areas of the resort’s aquatic amenities.

- All glass containers and breakable items.
- Personal size coolers.
- Personal speakers.

- No Smoking in the area.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00pm to 8:00am PST to ensure the comfort of all guests.
Safekeeping, Damage and Liability
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay.
- Tahiti Resort is not liable for the theft, loss, damage or destruction of any property brought by guests upon the premises or left in a motor vehicle because of theft, burglary, fire or otherwise, in the absence of gross neglect by the owner or keeper.
- Tahiti is not liable for theft, loss, damage or destruction of any property left inside a guest room. Tahiti provides a fireproof safe in which guests may deposit property. Tahiti will not accept property to deposit for safekeeping which exceeds $750 in value or is of a size that cannot easily fit within the safe.
Parking
- Complimentary parking is available for registered Owners and guests. Guests must register their vehicle at the Front Desk during check-in.
- Upon check-in, please visit the Concierge desk to pick up a parking pass.
- The property is not responsible for damage or theft to vehicles while parked on the property. A parking pass is required and must be visible on the vehicle’s dashboard. Any vehicle found on the property without a parking pass, or beyond the departure date indicated on the pass, will be subject to tow at the vehicle owner’s expense.
Prohibited Activities
- Illegal activities, disruptive behavior, or excessive noise are strictly prohibited. Guests violating this policy may be asked to leave without a refund.
- Inebriation may result in being removed from the property, activities, amenities or venue.
- Removal from property due to displaying any of these prohibited activities will not receive refunds for their stay.
Service Animal Policy for Hotel Guests
Service animals are defined as dogs trained to perform tasks for individuals with disabilities.
- No Pets Allowed: Pets are not permitted on the property or in guest rooms. Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 cleaning fee, possible removal from the resort, and no refund.
- Service Animal Disclosure: Please inform the resort at the time of reservation and check-in if bringing a service animal.
- Responsibilities: Service animal handlers are responsible for the service animal’s supervision and care. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, tethered, or controlled by voice or signal or other effective means.
- Damages: Service Animal Handlers may be charged for damage caused by a service animal, in accordance with the Resort’s policy on damage caused by hotel guests.
- Removal Policy: A service animal may be required to leave if it is out of control, not housebroken, barks excessively, or is left unattended in a guest room. Guests may stay without the service animal if removal is necessary.
Text Message Authorization
- Owners and guests consent to SMS (text message) alerts/communications regarding the room status or stay, including resort updates, to the mobile phone numbers provided while staying on property. Standard Call, Message, and Data rates apply.
Tahiti Vacation Club Owners
- In the event that any Tahiti Resort Policy conflicts with the rights of a Tahiti Vacation Club owner as set forth in the Tahiti Vacation Club Governing Documents and applicable law, the rights of the Owner will take precedence over this Resort Policy.
